Last Post at cornerstone.blogspot.com

Dear readers, thank you so much for faithfully reading my accounts of evangelism in Baja Norte, Mexico and Wichita, Kansas, USA.  Just knowing that my insignificant blog is being read is a great encouragement!  If the Lord wills, there are many more reports to come but, beginning today, they will be published at the following site:  http://www.idtmidamerica.blogspot.com  Come join me there!  God bless you!

Have You Been Praying?

I hope so.  The reason I ask is because this past weekend in Wichita's Old Town was relatively demonic distraction free.  This was a big change from the previous few weeks.  What a pleasant surprise!

After a wonderful Good Friday service at Calvary Chapel Wichita, I hit the streets with the primary goal of simply reading through Isaiah 53 in the open air.  The Lord let me do this and it seemed to make an impact on those who were passing by.  It was a pretty calm evening and hopefully some heard part of the Bible they had never heard before.  Scripture accomplishes what the Lord wants it to do.

On Saturday evening, the Lord let three of us distribute lots of tracts and I was able to preach God's law and the gospel to folks as they passed by.  There were a couple of very good, relaxed conversations with people who were interested in hearing the gospel.  Two young ladies even had questions about baptism after I shared the law and the gospel with them.  A breath of fresh air among the partiers, bars and clubs.

Maybe you're reading this and you are a Christian who has wanted to share the gospel.  You want to do as Jesus commanded and see people saved from God's wrath.  The most difficult thing is opening your mouth the first time.  Simply ask the Lord to help you, open your mouth and speak.  Get some tracts and begin leaving them where they will be found.  Believe it or not, the Lord of lords and King of kings will help you accomplish what He wants you to do.  Before Peter could walk on water, he had to get out of the boat.  Just don't look down at the waves!

Thank you for reading!  God bless you as you go and speak!

Demonic Distractions: The Dreaded DD

If you share your faith in Christ regularly, I'm sure you have had spiritual battles.  These problems are not demonic possession.  That's different.  The demonic distractions I'm referring to are simply things that prevent the gospel from being communicated to those who need to hear.

Last night had it's share of DDs.  The Lord provided several awesome opportunities to share the gospel yesterday evening.  He let me speak with two couples of high school prom goers and then half a bus load of Catholic high school students who were extremely interested.  Their chaperone was surprised the students didn't really know the gospel.  Later on, God let me open air preach several times to many partiers as they walked from one bar to another.  The talk with the prom couples went pretty smooth, but the others were interrupted by yelling, loud vehicles, and friends being dragged away from our conversation by other "friends".

When these interruptions happen, generally, I've already had the chance to share the bad news that the people have broken God's law (the Ten Commandments) and they will have to stand before Him for judgment.  Then comes the DD.  It seems the enemy does not want them to receive the good news of Christ taking our punishment.  Big surprise, right?  When this happens, I simply try to give them as much of the good news as possible.  Sometimes it's just a quick point of the finger upward and an admonition to "trust Christ".

Although these DDs can be frustrating, it's our duty as Christians to persevere and remember that those who have not yet repented and obeyed the gospel are NOT our enemy.  Our battle is not against flesh and blood...

Thank you for reading!  God bless you as you go and share your faith in Christ!

"Thank you for this lesson!"

That was a young lady's sincere response yesterday evening during our Old Town evangelism adventure.  She was the first of about six people the Lord let me take through the "good person test" last night.  Although she didn't burst into tears of conviction for her sin, I'm hopeful that her response indicates that she is a "good soil hearer" (Matthew 13:23), in whom the Word of God can take root and form Christ within her.  A response like this outweighs a lot of rejections!

The others were less positive in their responses, but they did allow me to take them through God's law (the Ten Commandments) and the good news of Jesus taking the punishment we deserve upon Himself.  They also took tracts along with them to read later.

Going back a couple of days.... St. Patrick's day was maybe the easiest evangelism time I've had in quite a while.  The key was this.  If I smiled and wished people a Happy St. Patrick's Day, they would take a tract nearly every time.  The greeting disarmed the partiers and it seems they just couldn't help but take the gospel into their hands.  St. Patrick the evangelist's legacy is still working although his day has been dedicated to green beer.

Our weather has finally warmed and people are outside more.  This allows me a lot more freedom than trying to evangelize in malls and stores.  Looking forward, the NCAA Women's basketball tournament is in town today and this Tuesday.  I'm hoping to reach lots of college women's basketball fans with the good news.

Thank you for reading and God bless you!

A Strategy Update.... As Promised

The cold weather evangelism strategies mentioned in my last post have been greatly needed here.  Since last time, we have had two blizzards with temps falling below zero Fahrenheit.  That's NOT my kind of weather!

My impression is that the cell phone strategy in particular works well, although it's difficult to tell because it generally doesn't lead to conversations with others.  I suppose it's better than doing nothing and it's certainly preferable to handing out tracts in a mall or store and then being "removed" by security.  Anyway, I'm ready for warm weather again so I can hit the streets!

Speaking of which... we are having a bit of warm weather!  In fact, after using the cell phone preaching strategy at a mall last night, we stood on a busy corner in downtown Wichita with an "Are You Ready?" cross as cars passed by.  If you're not familiar, this is a simple, hand-built, wooden cross that is about 3 to 4 feet tall.  Just the right size for holding.  The words "Are You Ready?" are painted on the horizontal piece.  The cross serves as a great opener for people to ask "Ready for what?"  People will sometimes stop their cars, roll down their window and ask.  The answer is eternity.  I've answered "to die" before, but some may see that as threatening. ;-)

No one was walking on the street last night due to the cold, but most people driving by looked and read the cross.  It's my hope that they may be jolted to think about eternity.  In warmer weather, the AYR cross should lead to one-2-one evangelism opportunities.  By the way, the AYR cross is not my idea.  Several street evangelists with blogs on the web use them, but I don't know who was first.  I'm simply seeking the Lord's leading as to when and where to use it or whatever other strategy He has.

We're hoping the warm weather continues here so people will be out and receive seeds of the gospel.  God bless you!

Two More Evangelism Strategies

The Lord has provided two more ways of spreading the seeds of His gospel - especially during the cold  weather when people are not out and available here.  After a lot of crying out to Him about what to do, He answered.

I used the first strategy last night with another member of Calvary Chapel's evangelism team.  We went to a large, busy mall because that's where a lot of people were.  My partner and I simply sat at a table in the food court close to other people.  Then, I loudly (some might say annoyingly loudly) told my friend about God's law, the gospel, his need to repent and trust Jesus Christ for eternal life, etc.  He simply acted the part of a friend who needs to hear the gospel.  A couple of times, we switched roles.  Our hope is that the other people around were eavesdropping.  Speaking loudly does not come naturally to me, but if I look at it as putting on a drama for the unwitting audience, the loud voice comes out.

We performed this impromptu drama about 4 or 5 times in various locations around the mall and then again in the cafe area of a huge grocery store.  A few people seemed to be listening.  Our hope is simply that seeds were planted in good soil through this alternative type of open-air preaching.

The second strategy is one I found on a website run by Pastor Steve Sanchez.  You can find his web site here.  Any believer can do this variation of the first strategy.  All you need is a cell phone and it doesn't even have to be on.  Just put the phone to your ear and speak to whatever imaginary person you may be talking to about righteousness, God's justice, Jesus' atoning sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection, our need to be born again...  Just speak loudly so people around you can hear the most important information in the world.

These two variations on open-air preaching have opened up some opportunities for me here.  Now, it's much easier to share the gospel in stores, airports, and other private property where distribution of gospel tracts and real open air preaching will get a person kicked out.  Next time, I hope to bring an update about how these strategies are working.  God bless you!

New Evangelism Strategy

Due to the cold Kansas winter and the near impossibility of evading security in the malls, our little evangelism group is planning a different strategy.  I call it "drive by" evangelism, but really it's more like drive - stop - drive evangelism.

Here's the plan.... partners will choose a major street in Wichita and, beginning on one side of town, will drive along stopping at businesses as the Holy Spirit leads to share the gospel with anyone who may be available.  Then, we will drive on to the next place and the next, etc. across town.  Sounds crazy?  Yeah, maybe a little, but we're casting our nets however we're able.

We've been trying to share the gospel in malls during the Christmas shopping season, but the security guards are on watch for anyone doing anything besides shopping.  They also allow no groups of people to gather and talk (to prevent gang activity).  Going to the malls has been like trying to rob a police station.  Not likely to be successful.

Please join me in prayer that the Lord will make us sensitive to His leading and lead us to those who are hungry to hear the Good News.  I'll also take some warm weather so that people will be out on the streets on public property if the Lord is willing to provide it. ;-)

Thank you for reading and praying!  God bless you!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and a happy 2011 to all!  Have a wonderful time celebrating Jesus' coming to earth to take upon Himself the sins of the world and save us from sin and God's wrath.

As the temperatures have fallen lately here in Kansas, there have been fewer evangelism opportunities.  Although lots of people are out shopping, there are very few who wish to talk about the real reason for the upcoming celebration.  They are busy finding presents, frustrated with crowds and they don't want anything to get in their way.  Tonight, our little street evangelism team is planning to visit a local mall and another shopping center.  Our plan is to simply drift around and allow the Lord to guide us where He wants.  Please join me in asking the Lord for a fruitful evening.

On an associated subject...this is just something I've been thinking about lately.  What if your birthday were a month away and millions of people were preparing for a huge party with each family spending hundreds of dollars; even going into debt.  Millions of them would be traveling to gather in large groups.  Hours would be spent shopping, decorating homes and preparing feasts.  Special music would be played on the radio and special programs would be broadcast on TV specifically for your upcoming birthday.  In fact, what if the celebration of your birth was so huge that many business owners would look forward all year in anticipation of the economic impact of it to keep them in business.  And then... what if you weren't invited, welcome, or even tolerated at the worldwide party held to honor your birth?  Crazy, isn't it?  Please invite the Lord Jesus Christ to your celebration of His birth.

Thank you for reading.  God bless you!

Winter Is Coming

It's getting colder here in Wichita (dropping into the low 30s), but we still went to the Old Town party area of town last night with some success.  The Lord allowed us to distribute around 40-50 gospel tracts, speak briefly with a couple of people, and do some open air preaching.

The regular attendees of the bars in Old Town know who we are and many of them refuse the gospel tracts.  They can refuse the tracts and conversation, but they can't escape God's message of salvation when we open air preach.

We have found that it is nearly impossible to draw a crowd in Old Town.  On Reformation Day (halloween), we tried to give away money to people if they would stop and tell us if they were good witches, zombies, etc.  No takers.  I suppose they might take the money if we were handing out larger bills, but $5 bills could not buy their attention even for a few seconds.

As the weather gets colder, we have tentative plans to do some evangelism at malls and shopping centers.  Those are the places people will be during the Christmas shopping season.  This requires that we change our evangelism methods a little to fly under the radar and not be disruptive to store owners and security.  It will be challenging and your prayers are appreciated.

Thank you for reading and for your prayers!  God bless you!

Kerusso

Kerusso, according to Strong's concordance, is Greek for "(1) to be a herald or to officiate as a herald, to proclaim after the manner of a herald always with the suggestion of formality, gravity and an authority which must be listened to and obeyed."  When we translate to English, we get the word preach as in "Go into all the world and preach the gospel..." in Mark 16:15 and "preach the word; be ready in season and out of season...." in 2 Timothy 4:2.  That's what we did last night in the Old Town bar and party area of Wichita.

The evangelism group from Calvary Chapel has distributed thousands of the best tracts we can find and spoken one-to-one with people in Old Town for a looonnng time.  We continue to do so, but are concentrating more on open-air preaching to reach more people.  According to Romans 10:17, "Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ."  Since no one can hear a tract, and we're limited in how many we can reach on a one-to-one basis, we are giving people the Word of God verbally.

Last night, we loudly, publicly proclaimed the message of the King of kings to all who would hear.  This was a bit of a warm-up for next weekend when we celebrate Reformation Day (the world calls it halloween).  My plan is to take turns with one or more other members of our group to open air preach God's law and gospel next Saturday night.  I'm making my plans and trusting the Lord to order my steps in accordance with His will so that people will repent and obey the gospel.

So, you may be wondering what sort of response do we get while open air preaching the gospel in Old Town.  The police have never disrupted us.  Most people simply walk on by.  The call of overpriced alcohol, smoke, and bad music in the bars is just too strong for them.  A few make little negative comments, but, so far, no one has gotten out-of-control angry.  They all hear the gospel regardless of their response.  Nearly every evening we open air preach, someone comes by with an encouraging comment and thanks us for preaching the gospel.  This happened to me personally three times just last night and it outweighs many snide comments.

The bottom line on open air preaching is this... it is obedience to God's word to loudly, publicly proclaim His message of salvation and He will bless the effort and protect us as we do it.  If you'd like to give open airing a try, just jump up on a footstool (elevation is important!) and loudly read John 3:16 to people.  Your knees will probably knock together, but It will be over before you know it and you won't regret it!  God bless you!

A Quick Hour at the Arena

Lately, I'm sorry to say, the Calvary Chapel evangelism team has had very ordinary evenings in Old Town, Wichita.  We've handed out quite a few tracts and had a few more personal one-to-one witnessing times, but nothing spectacular has happened.  It's been good, but the world hasn't been turned upside down.

We've begun meeting as a sort of "home fellowship" group on Thursday evenings for prayer and learning the finer points of Biblical evangelism.  We're hoping the Lord will grow our group of 5 guys and make us more effective for Him on the streets or wherever He sends us.

Back to the title of this post:  The WWE pro wrestlers were in town for the second time at Wichita's new arena last night.  No one else was able to join me, so I arrived at the arena at about 9pm.  The wrestling fans came out beginning around 10pm.  They kept exiting until about 11pm.

Since people are focused on going to their cars, opportunities for one-to-one discussions with them are rare.  I began with about 500 tracts or maybe a few more.  When the last person had passed by, only 17 tracts were left.  I'll just round it to 500 tracts per hour.  Yea for Jesus!

Thank you for reading!  God bless you and all you do for Him!

A Whirlwind Trip to Baja

Since my last post, the Lord let us hand out hundreds of tracts at Wichita's huge car show known as the Blacktop Nationals.  He also let me take a quick trip to Baja for some fresh air.

The Baja trip began with an invitation to join a couple for one of their regular supply runs to missionaries at IDT about 2 hours south of Ensenada on the Pacific coast of Baja.  With a week of vacation from work, I flew to California and joined them for the two-day trip south.  We had a fantastic trip filled with some challenges like tire problems and a broken leaf spring on the trailer and God obviously providing help for us.  Even on the side of the road in the Mexican desert with temperatures over 100 degrees (40 degrees celsius), He was with us and providing for us.

By far, the best part of the trip was visiting my family in Christ who serve in Baja.  We were only at the mission base for about 36 hours so we had to move fast to unload the trailer, distribute everything and have some visiting time, too.  In His sovereignty, the Lord provided opportunities to serve Him by serving the poor, He provided fantastic food and fellowship, and even some laughs.  So, it all boils down to this:  6 days of travel for a day and a half with my family at IDT.  Totally worth it!

Tonight, I'm planning to hit the streets of Old Town here in Wichita again.  It is not God's will that anyone perish.  His word is going out and it will not return void.  Please join me in asking the Lord to soften hearts, open spiritual eyes, and save.  God bless you!

Breaking the Sound Barrier

Last Saturday evening at around 11:30pm, we broke the sound barrier in the Old Town area of Wichita.  Only a few people were disturbed by it and the police didn't even seem to notice.  What I'm talking about is "open air" preaching to the partiers and clubbers who frequent the bars and clubs in Old Town.

For the most part, my partner warned people that sin is enjoyable for a season, but it ends in death.  I stuck with reading John 3:16-18 repeatedly to whomever was passing by.  Believe me.  You must break the sound barrier to stand up on a footstool or other source of elevation and preach loudly.  It's a barrier of nervousness.  Like many things, the more you do it, the less nervous you are.

The best part of open air preaching may be the least expected.  It tends to result in good one-to-one evangelism opportunities.  That's exactly what happened Saturday evening when I was preaching.  My partner acted as a heckler in the middle of a small crowd of people to draw attention.  He acted like an atheist and asked me to prove the existence of God.  I answered him just as I would a real atheist.

Two young women in the crowd yelled at him that, of course God exists.  That's when things got exciting in the crowd.  Several people began loudly saying that God exists while others argued with them.  The two young women began speaking with me and the Lord let me take them through the "Good Person Test" (see www.goodpersontest.com )  Both readily agreed that they would be found guilty of breaking God's law (the Ten Commandments) and would be on their way to hell if God were to judge them by that standard.  That was my opportunity to give them the gospel and encourage them to repent and place their complete trust in the atoning, suffering death on a cross of Jesus Christ.  Yea for God!  Did they drop to their knees sobbing and weeping in repentence right there?  Nope.  Only the Holy Spirit can draw them into the Kingdom.

In other news, a big evangelistic opportunity hits Wichita this week.  It's called the "Blacktop Nationals" and is a four day car show, auction, cruise, etc.  About 50,000 people are expected, so I'm hoping to be busy on the streets.  God bless you!

It´s Not Always a Victory

Good evenings spent evangelizing out on the streets are easy to report.  It´s fun to tell the world what the Lord has done.  Saturday evening was a bit different.

But first.... last Friday evening, the Calvary Chapel crew (only two of us this time) went out and the evening was fairly normal.  We distributed tracts and spoke with a few folks about what the Lord requires of them.

On Saturday evening, I went out alone because the guys who usually come out had other things going on.  So I walked around the Old Town area of Wichita for about two hours.  No one would take a tract from me.  No one would speak with me about their beliefs.  Ugh.  Was I doing something wrong?  Should I have gone somewhere else?  Was the Lord seeing if I would persist?  Only He knows.

Anyway, something not related to street ministry but about which I'm kinda excited is the overnight camp trip for the youth at my church.  I'm planning to use wooden stakes to outline Noah's ark.  The kids are in for a surprise when they see how big it was and how much it could have carried.  They will find that it was big enough for all the animals with room left for people had they been willing to be saved from the flood.

On second thought, Noah's ark is related to evangelism.  The ark's door was open for seven days before the rains came and the fountains of the deep burst open.  In the same way, the opportunity for people to be saved by God's grace is open right now.  It seems most people would rather perish than come through the door Jesus has provided.  One day, God will close His door of grace just as He closed the door on Noah's ark.  God bless you!

One 2 One

Ok.  Please forgive me for walking on air a little bit, but I had an exceptionally good evening in Old Town last night.  Three of us hit the streets for the usual Saturday evening of distributing tracts and encouraging people to turn from sin and place their trust in Jesus Christ.  We began the evening at around 9pm.  It was very hot and humid so people were not too active before then.

For some reason last night, people were willing to stop and speak with us.  Not everyone of course, but more than usual.  The Lord let me present the gospel one-to-one to about 7 or 8 individuals.  He gave me enough boldness to gently, lovingly warn two people that, according to 1 Corinthians 6:10, people who practice getting drunk will not enter the Kingdom of God.  One said he knew that and the other young woman got a little bit mad.  Maybe it made an impression and she will remember.

We also were able to speak with several professing Catholics who, apparently, have been led to believe that they are saved because they had their first communion, were baptized, go to confession, etc.  We carefully warned them that none of these religious activities will save them, but they need to repent and trust the Savior with the same confidence they have in activities of the Catholic church.

So the result of the evening (as far as I know) was that no one fell on their knees crying and begging the Lord for forgiveness.  But it was a high-impact evening for some people.  They were given some things to think about and, by the conviction and work of the Holy Spirit, some may become followers of Jesus.  And the three of us had a good time, too!

I hope this blog inspires you to go out and share your faith.  God bless you!

Automobilia

That's the name of a store here in Wichita that sells all sorts of car stuff.  You may understandably respond, "So what?".  So, the store called Automobilia sponsors an enormous car show that covers about 15 blocks of downtown Wichita every summer and it draws tens of thousands out to see all the cars, trucks, motorcycle, dune buggies... that show up.  This year, the show was this past Saturday evening.

The Calvary Chapel street evangelism team uses car shows, (there are lots of them in Wichita), to reach people with the gospel and we did our best to take advantage of the opportunity last Saturday evening.  Lots of tracts went into the hands of car show attendees and they were fairly well received.  It's difficult to get conversations going with people because they are gawking at cars, but we were able to have a few one-to-one gospel presentations.  The results are always in the Lord's perfect hands and it's not His will that anyone perish.

We're in the middle of the slow season at Wichita's Intrust Bank Arena, but another 80's rock concert is coming through town this week and I'm planning to be there.  Please join me in keeping the results of all of the outreaches in prayer.  God bless you!

Summertime

The Rumble in Delano car show mentioned in the previous post proved to be a great time!  We handed out hundreds of tracts, had a few conversations, and one of our crew was even yelled at by someone who claimed to be an atheist.  I've heard it said that, when the gospel is presented, people will either get angry or get saved.  The gospel is offensive and makes people angry because Jesus Christ is the only Name by which we can be saved.  The gospel is also the power of God unto salvation.

Personally, I go along with Ray Comfort www.livingwaters.com who says that atheists don't exist.  Everyone has been given some "light", some knowledge or realization that God exists and that we are accountable to Him.  I guess those who claim to be atheists simply want God not to exist so that they can do whatever they wish without being held accountable.  Obviously, they are fighting a losing battle.  One day, whether we believe in God or not, we will all be held accountable to Him.

Tonight, the Calvary Chapel of Wichita evangelism group is headed out to the streets again.  Maybe to Old Town, maybe somewhere else.  Your prayers are appreciated!  God bless you and thank you for reading!

The Circus is in Town!

The Greatest Show on Earth is in Wichita this weekend and it has been gathering crowds to receive the gospel.  Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey began their string of six shows Thursday evening.  So far, the crowds have been kinda small for a big arena but it's the best opportunity to evangelize in town right now.  Today, the circus performs three shows and two more on Sunday and I'm planning to be there.

Also today, a big car show is planned for an area of downtown Wichita.  It's called "Rumble in Delano" and it should bring out hundreds if not several thousand people.  I'm planning to be there with the Calvary Chapel evangelism team and then go to the arena about a mile away as needed for the circus.  It should be a busy day.

A couple of prayer requests for you:  Please ask the Lord to send us to people with hearts prepared to receive the gospel and to give us good weather (no thunderstorms, tornados, etc!) during these events.

One more note:  I REALLY miss all my friends in California and Mexico!  I love you all tons!  God bless you!

A Witch in Wichita

This past weekend was busy!  It was the first weekend of Wichita's River Festival.  The PBR pro bull riders were also in town at the big arena so I went there to catch the after show crowd of several thousand people as they left.  On Saturday, thousands of people were in the streets downtown to watch jet ski racing, a huge dodgeball tournament, 3 stages of music, a market, and a kids fair.  There were lots of adults who had their faces painted like the little kids do.  Is this another fad I'm missing?

On Saturday evening, I made sure to catch the PBR crowd again after the bull riding.  While waiting for the fans to exit the arena, a witch and I spent about 15 minutes talking.  He claimed to be a follower of wicca.  Playing dumb because I wanted to know his specific views, I asked him to explain his beliefs to me.  Mostly they were centered around "mother earth".  Actually, some of his beliefs were quite admirable.  He said he is a "white witch" and does his best to never hurt anyone or even offend anyone.  He claimed to never have lied or stolen.  He brought up the fact that he is concerned about the environment and notices that this world (society, politics, etc.) is going down fast.  He said his grandmother was Lutheran and kinda pounded the Ten Commandments into him and he didn't like that.  We found some common ground on a few things and had a nice conversation.

Just before the crowd came out of the arena, I was able to point him to Father God before Whom he will have to stand and give an account of his life.  He admitted to breaking Commandment #7 in his heart (see the Sermon on the Mount if you're not sure).  The Lord let me steer the conversation to show my wiccan friend that he is a criminal in God's sight, but Jesus took the punishment he deserves and paid for his crimes against God by shedding His blood on the cross.  He took a tract, walked on down the street, and I ended up distributing about 200 tracts to the bull riding fans.  A very interesting evening.

Sunday was Mothers' Day of course.  I hope you were extra good to your mom!

Dinosaurs and the River Festival

It's getting busier here in Wichita when it comes to street evangelism.  A huge dinosaur show just played for 4 days straight at the Intrust Bank Arena.  Thousands of people saw it and thousands of tracts went out to them.  The Lord let me hand out about 200 tracts on Sunday afternoon alone.  Most gladly received the good news and the police did not make us move across the street.  Yea!  A small victory!

The officers have very kindly asked me to move across the street during some previous events.  With a new arena comes a learning curve for the police regarding what the law says about evangelism on the public sidewalks and where exactly the arena property ends and public property begins.  So far, I have always quickly submitted to the officers' request to move.  They have the guns after all.  The Lord has given me success across the street anyway by sending plenty of people past on the way to their cars.

Wichita's River Festival is coming up during the second week of May.  It's a week-long string of outdoor concerts and other events downtown.  Thousands of people will be out on the streets and it's a prime opportunity to get the gospel out there.  Please join me in praying for divine appointments!

God bless you!
