Lately, I'm sorry to say, the Calvary Chapel evangelism team has had very ordinary evenings in Old Town, Wichita. We've handed out quite a few tracts and had a few more personal one-to-one witnessing times, but nothing spectacular has happened. It's been good, but the world hasn't been turned upside down.
We've begun meeting as a sort of "home fellowship" group on Thursday evenings for prayer and learning the finer points of Biblical evangelism. We're hoping the Lord will grow our group of 5 guys and make us more effective for Him on the streets or wherever He sends us.
Back to the title of this post: The WWE pro wrestlers were in town for the second time at Wichita's new arena last night. No one else was able to join me, so I arrived at the arena at about 9pm. The wrestling fans came out beginning around 10pm. They kept exiting until about 11pm.
Since people are focused on going to their cars, opportunities for one-to-one discussions with them are rare. I began with about 500 tracts or maybe a few more. When the last person had passed by, only 17 tracts were left. I'll just round it to 500 tracts per hour. Yea for Jesus!
Thank you for reading! God bless you and all you do for Him!
Awesome!
